Job Description
**This is a Monday through Friday position from a 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. shift. **
Position Summary:
Perform duties as necessary in producing high quality products and operating the Production Room in a safe, efficient manner for both personnel and products.
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform duties required to produce product within specifications.

Follow all Safety guidelines.
-
Perform duties to meet efficiency goals.
-
Maintain the plant and all equipment in a sanitary condition.
-
Perform all key activities within the General Labor category.
Key Activities:
-
Fill, heat, and turn forms in a timely manner.
-
Level curd in forms to achieve average case weight targets.
-
Move product to the Brine via the cross-conveyor and perform vat sanitation duties.
-
Operate the Brine system equipment maintaining vat integrity and record vat placement within the Brine accurately.
-
Perform all Master Sanitation Schedule duties throughout the Production Room, Brine, and Separator Room and record as required.
-
Operate CIP/COP equipment as required.
-
Support all Plant Quality programs.

Complete all Master Sanitation Schedule duties as assigned.

Operate product testing equipment as required.
-
Follow all position related GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors

Responsible for following Safety (OSHA) regulations and procedures.
-
Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position.
-
All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Necessary Experience:
-
High School or equivalent (preferred).
-
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) preferred.

Must be able to perform those physical duties associated with plant production & packaging activities, including lifting-up to 40 lbs.

Previous food manufacturing preferred.
-
Basic Mechanical Experience (preferred).
