Job Description

**This is a Monday through Friday position from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. shift. **

 

Position Summary:

 Responsible for efficient and accurate picking and staging orders.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper operation of electric pallet trucks within the warehouse. 

• Must be able to add and subtract. 

• Able to lift 50 lbs. 

• Pick all orders accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Pay special attention to detail 

• Able to understand and work with RF handhelds.

• Pick all orders with heaviest product on the bottom and lightest on top 

• Help load and unload trucks. 

• Cycle count items when indicated. 

• Operate RF handheld. 

• Keep warehouse clean, organized and safe. 

• Obey all safety regulations at all times.

Performance Metrics:

• Pick orders in a timely manner 

• Picking mistakes 

• Daily P.I.T inspection sheet filled 

• Cycle count accuracy 

• Follow FIFO and question any inventory, order, safety related issues 

 

Necessary Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience picking orders 

• High School diploma or equivalent 

• Experience working in a high volume shipping and receiving environment 

• Self discipline and mature worker willing to be part of a “Team Work” 

 

Skills Required:

• Attention to detail 

• Ability to learn quickly 

• Industry experience 

• Ability to read English 

• Adaptable to change/learns quickly 

• Action-oriented 

• Knowledge of using pallet rider/electric jack.
