Job Description

**This is a Monday through Friday position from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. shift. **

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for efficient and accurate picking and staging orders.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must be able to add and subtract.

• Able to lift 50 lbs.

• Pick all orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Pay special attention to detail.

• Able to understand and work with RF handhelds.

Key Activities:

• Responsible for the proper operation of electric pallet trucks within the warehouse.

• Pick all orders with heaviest product on the bottom and lightest on top.

• Help load and unload trucks.

• Cycle count items when indicated.

• Operate RF handheld.

• Keep warehouse clean, organized and safe.

• Obey all safety regulations at all times.

• Responsible for complying with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position.

• Follow GWP’s, sanitation procedures,and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Knowledge of using pallet rider/electric jack.

 

Necessary Experience:

• Minimum 1-year experience picking orders.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working in a high volume shipping and receiving environment.

• Self-discipline and mature worker willing to be part of a “Team Work”.
