Position Summary:

The Trade Promotion Analyst’s primary role is to ensure all trade promotions are processed; all deductions are cleared in a timely manner; and be a resource to the finance and sales teams for trade spend reporting as needed.

Primary Responsiblities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of trade promotions.

  • Lead contact for the sales and finance teams for customer promotional activity.

  • Analyze data and produce timely reports to stakeholders.

  • Reduction/Maintenance of appropriate open deductions.

  • Will assist with preparing reports for other non-trade promotion functions.

Performance Metrics:

  • Enters all promotional programs submitted by sales team making sure are details are entered accurately.

  • Work with finance deduction management team to ensure deductions are applied to appropriate trade promotions in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Build a working relationship with sales managers and brokers through scheduled meetings to review contract exceptions and changes.

  • Analyze, research, and provide data on customer specific activity as needed.

  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis including customer trade reports, regional spending reports, and monthly spend forecast reports.

  • Process all submitted trade promotions accurately and in a timely fashion making sure they are entered before the actual promotion take place.

  • Clear deductions in a timely manner making sure to avoid them aging over 30 days old.

Necessary Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with D365 preferred, but not required.
